Meet Moja …

A 4th generation Native of Colorado Springs, she started her burlesque career in 2018 with the Peaks and Pasties and is now a part of The Burly Scouts of Colorado Springs. Moja has a style of her very own. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with poi balls and glow sticks, in her popular Rockabilly getup, or submerged in a character act, she is dominating the burlesque world with her creative talents.

Moja’s name derives from the classic 90’s cartoon The Powerpuff Girls as well as the infamous Austin Powers movies. Moja brings mojo to the stage and entices the audience with her art of tease. She is well known for her high energy acts and is often chosen as the 1st perfomer of a show to rile the audiences up and set stage presence.

Although Moja has various acts from black lights to cartoon characters, Moja is best known for her Rockabilly style and act. She performed for the Hot Rod Rock N Rumble in 2019 as one of the newest performers with Peaks and Pasties. She has brought her Rockabilly act to various stages across Colorado.

Moja has a very interesting beginning to her burlesque career. During her first ever performance with Peaks and Pasties, Moja dislocated her knee on stage. Although in pain, she was able to finish her first performance and graduate with the Peaks and Pasties. During her 6 months of recovery, Moja assisted the troupe any way she could until she was able to perform again in 2019.

Moja is now a leading performer and has performed in musical style performances such as Maleficent and Flashesque (A Flash Dance Parody) and different themed shows and kamikaze acts. Moja is a versatile performer who gives her all when she performs.
